	Materials:  25cm mari wrapped in tan Pearl cotton #5 in blue, green and orange Marking thread in gold metallic Prepare an 8-Combination Division in gold metallic

Points A, B, C, D are each located 1cm from the side line of the square of the 8-pt center formed by the C8 division. Starting at A stitch 8 rows of masu kagari; last row should reach to intersection of marking lines. Work in color pairs on opposite poles, as shown in photo. Points 1, 2, 3, 4 are each located 1cm from the corners of the marking lines as shown in the diagram. Starting at opposite points (2-4 or 1-3), work tsumu kagari, 8 rows, interlocking both the tsumu and the tsumu/masu, nejiri style. Place colors as shown in photo.
