Stitch kiku design using Uwagake
Chidori Kagari in each 8-point center. Inner point is 5 mm
from center point, outer stitch is 30 mm from center.
Color sequence is: 2 rows yellow; 1 row darkest blue; 2 rows dark blue; 3 rows medium blue; 4 rows light blue; 1 row of darkest blue. Place keeper pins on midpoints of each 8-point square marking line (see Fig. 2). Following Fig. 2 stitch path A-B-C- etc in green for as many rows as needed to fill corner space, passing through keeper pins. Tack thread bundles using tabane kagari in place at keeper pins. |
