Materials: 27 cm circum mari, wrapped in black Pearl Cotton #5 in Bright red for squares; yellow and white for stripes. Marking thread in metallic copper Prepare an 8-Combination Division |
Add extra marking lines as shown in Diagram 1. |

All stitching is done with double
thread. With yellow, stitch one round in all stripe
sections as show in red on Diagram 2. End points extend into
squares formed with extra marking lines. Corners are stitched on
the extra marking lines. With red, stitch one round of square,
shown in blue on Diagram 2. Stitch 1 round white in stripe
section, 1 red in square, 1 yellow in stripe, 1 red in square.
Repeat for total of 7 rounds Work 3 more rounds of red in square. Finish with long stitch embellishment in 6 point centers. |
