	Materials: 23 cm circum mari, wrapped in black Pearl Cotton #5 in colors of your choice Marking thread in metallic gold Prepare an 8-Combination Division

Hold ball so the north pole is on the top. Locate the 4 triangles with a diamond shape around the obi, outlined in black ( as in photo to the left). Place pins 1.5cm  inside the arrow head shape as shown in red in photo. Stitch all 4 arrow head shapes for the north pole. Turn the ball so the south pole becomes the north pole. Locate the triangles with a pole around the obi. Mark with pins the same distance in from the edge to make the arrow head shape. See photo to right.

Stitch the 4 arrow head shapes around the south pole, interlocking nejiri style as you go. Embellish the design as you please.
