Materials: 24 cm circum mari, wrapped in blue Pearl Cotton #5 in light blue, variegated blue, dark blue, red Marking thread to match mari wrap Prepare a 10-Combination Division with invisible thread |
Design is in two layers, first layer in Kousa
Style (interwoven). First layer: Locate the 12 big pentagons; A,B,C,D,E. (red lines) Start at A , 1/3 over the marking line, work one thread in each pentagon over whole the mari. Repeat 6 more rounds in kousa style, using this color sequence: 1 Light blue, 1 dark blue, 3 variegated blue, 1 red. Keep care the total number of threads not exceed more than 1/3 of the marker line part. Second layer: Locate small pentagon E,1,2,3,4. (Blue line) Start first row just inside the big pentagons. Stitch the rows as follows 1 dark blue, 3 variegated blue, 1 dark blue, 1 light blue. Complete the 12 small pentagons one by one |
