Work a five point star (locate and stitch points 1-3-5-2-4-1)
in each pentagon, working from border point to border point.
Locate points A through J, spaced around three stars at a time.
Stitch this round in the order shown from point A to J back to
A. Work this motif around each point where three pentagons meet
at that 3-way corner. When each 3 point coner has been worked
around, one cycle is complete. Repeat for threeor four more
cycles, depending on your preference and the starting size of
the ball. |
